Tiger
I, Tiger, watched the rat movie called Ratatouille. Mama and Connor thought I would love it because it features animals. This was a reasonable prediction. It was also incorrect.
I personally despise rats
I usually enjoy animated animal movies. I am an animal myself, and I remain open to learning from other species. Rats are the exception. I do not believe there is anything valuable for me to learn from them. I am also a clean boy, and there were far too many rats on the screen for me to relax.
I was not locked in. At several points I could barely bring myself to look. My brother Simba, surprisingly, seemed intrigued. His interest did not make the viewing experience more reassuring.
“A kitchen is not an appropriate workplace for a rat, regardless of talent.”
A dangerous kitchen policy
The film sends a terrible message about allowing rats in kitchens. Kitchens contain food. Food should be clean. This is not complicated. Skill with a saucepan does not cancel the sanitation concern.
The movie gave me nightmares about dirty food and should have included a clear warning about its rat content. In my professional opinion, it should be unreleased and banned. I award it two paws down, which is the lowest direction available to my paws.
