I had a half brother growing up. We were sent to the same home on the same day. We were only 10 days apart. We shared the same dad, but different moms. I never really think of Simba as a real sibling cause he's only my half brother. Moreover, he never treats me as a real brother. Over the years, I was bullied by my half brother Simba.
Guess what? Simba wants it too.
When I wanna be close to Mama and jump on Mama's lap, Simba would jump in and bite me. When I choose a nice spot to sit on, guess what, Simba decides he wants my spot, right after I choose it! When I wanna be on the white chair next to Mama's bed, guess what, all of a sudden Simba wants the white chair too. All right, I want peace, so I would move to the pillow on the bed. Guess what, now Simba wants the pillow too. That's why I always have a sad or poker face.
Mama found me a therapist
Mama would stand up for me and yell at Simba if Mama was there when the bullying happened. Unfortunately, the bullying happens every day at random times, sometimes when Mama's at work. I looked sadder and sadder, until one day, Mama assigned me a human therapist, Connor, her boyfriend.
Oh Connor
Oh Connor, he is the best human being! Mama has great taste! I hope Mama and Connor can be together forever. Connor would cheer me up when Simba tries to fight me. Connor puts on animal movies to inspire me. Connor gives me treats and makes sure that my brother is not stealing treats from me.
“Connor holds me up high above his head, making me feel empowered, like Lion King.”— Tiger
Connor even smacked Simba's face when Simba tried to bite him. Great move! Now Simba learned about consequences. Whenever Connor is around, I feel stronger and more confident. He's the best!
