Pillow Boys · Tiger's side

The “real”
Pillow Boy.

Half the pillow. All the peace of sleeping beside Mama.

Bedtime is one of my favorite times of the day because I get to rest on Mom's pillow. Mom has a few pillows, and she always makes sure that there's room for me.

Mom doesn't like sleeping alone. Whenever she goes to the bedroom, she calls for my name and my brother's name.

“Simba, Tiger, come, come, come to the bed.”— Mama

Waiting for my moment

Simba sometimes has an attitude and won't follow orders right away. I, on the other hand, wait until it's safe for me to make a move. If Simba and I try to get to the pillow at the same time, we might end up fighting. If I wait for a few minutes, and by then the pillow spot is still open, I always take it.

Half for Mama. Half for me.

The truth is, for the past few months, I have been sleeping on Mami's pillow. I take half the space and leave Mom with the other half so she can place her head comfortably. I always hug Mama's head and stay close, as physical touch is my love language.

Sleeping next to Mama makes me feel so peaceful. Since Mama is right next to me, Simba usually doesn't bully me on the spot. I feel safe sleeping with my Mama.

I am the pillow boy!

Pillow Boys · The other side

Simba would like a word.

The title remains very much in dispute.
